Whey protein is a supplement which is used to recover our muscles after doing heavy workout in gym.. Whey protein is actually made from milk, Do you know mother's milk contains 80% of whey protein.. Whey protein is produced during the process of making cheese, which starts when certain enzymes are added to milk, causing it to separate out into these constituent parts. One of the parts is called curds. The curds are used to make cheese, leaving behind whey protein in the liquid portion.
